Don’t know what to make for dinner tonight? Whether you’re feeding a family or just yourself, cooking doesn’t need to be hard and this recipe is here to prove it. Having a couple of go-to recipes for when you just don’t have the time or really can’t be bothered are key to ensuring you eat a balanced meal. This budget friendly family recipe is enough to feed a family of five (and maybe even some leftovers for lunch the following day).
Easy Beef Stir Fry

Ingredients:
- 600g Beef Stir Fry Strips
- Thai stye stir fry sauce
- 600g Stir-Fry vegetables (can use pre-cut veggies if short on time)
- 2 cups steamed Jasmine rice
- 1 cup cashews
- 1 cup coriander sprigs
Method:
- Heat a wok or large non-stick frying pan over high heat. Add one-quarter of the beef. Stir-fry for 1-2 mins or until just cooked through. Transfer to a plate. Repeat, in 3 more batches, with the remaining beef.
- Return the beef to the wok or pan and add stir fry sauce, vegetables and 1 cup (250ml) water. Stir-fry for 2-3 mins or until just heated through.
- Cook the rice following packet directions. Divide among serving bowls. Top with the beef mixture. Sprinkle with cashews and coriander to serve.
